LettersToMitch.com is an Arrested Development appreciation site. Our primary focus is on providing a way for fans of the show to express their enjoyment and gratitude to the cast, crew, and everyone responsible for bringing the comedic gift that is AD to life. The name LettersToMitch.com was chosen to honor Mitchell Hurwitz, the creator and showrunner for Arrrested Development. It came to mind from seeing all the "Thank You Mitch" messages that abounded when it began to appear that Arrested Development might be drawing to a close. We want to make sure that those messages of thanks - to Mitch, the stars, the writers, and everyone else involved in the show - are heard...and if possible, delivered. We want to make sure that everyone who helped create AD gets the credit, and thanks, that they deserve. For the time being, we will be gathering letters for display on the site, and doing what we can to make sure the folks from the show are aware of the site. (Post your Letter to Mitch here! ) Before long, we hope to initiate lines of contact with those from the show that would like to get correspondence from fans, and provide an easy way to facilitate that-- whether it's by passing on the messages, or by providing the folks from the show a way to login and check their AD mail. Also, at this point in time, there is still a possible future for Arrested Development. Rumors of a possible movie in the future are abundant. For as long as there are still decisions to be made about Arrested Development's future, we will aim to provide ways for fans to contact those who are in the decision-making positions. We'll also be gathering links to tributes created by fans, and probably indulging in a lot of the standard fan site stuff. The overall intention is to have a place where appreciation for this great show - which is only going to grow over time - can be collected, and...appreciated itself, I guess. And where the people who brought us this gem - all of them - are acknowledged and revered.
